When you attempt to go to a web site you may get the following message:

***ACCESS DENIED***. The website you are attempting to visit either violated BCSS Acceptable Use Policy or is blocked for other reasons. 

You are getting this message for one of two reasons, the site is blocked or you lost your connection to the filtering server.

Attempt to reconnect to the server by clicking on the following icon we placed on your desktop "WebFilter Authenticator"

This should reconnect you to the filter server.

If you continue to get the blocked message the site may actually be blocked. You may submit a request to unblock the site by clicking on "To submit this blocked site for review. "Click here" on the error screen. 

You may also get the following message:

***CAUTION*** The website you are attempting to visit MAY violate BCSS Policy. You can click CONTINUE to visit the site or click CANCEL to not access the requested site. All Internet traffic is logged and reported for the safety of staff and students.

You may click the continue button here if you feel this is not in violation of the policy. If you are not sure you may click on "Access the BCS Technology/Internet AUP here" on the message screen to review the policy.
