Angie Hufstetler
Fifth Grade Teacher: Math
Birthday: November 5th

I was born in Rome, Georgia, but my family lived in Adairsville.  I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Adairsville.  I graduated from Adairsville High School in 1986 and, eventually, graduated from Kennesaw State College in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Science degree.  I majored in Middle School Education with an emphasis in Math.  Six years later, I received my Master's Degree in Middle School Math from Berry College.  I taught 5th grade Math in Gordon County at Max V. Tolbert Elementary for the first 10 years of my career.  Then, I transferred to Adairsville Elementary (where I attended elementary school) in the year 2000 and continued to teach 5th grade Math for 5 years.  Then I taught 4th grade Math for 2 years. I am now back in 5th grade again for the 2nd year.

I have one younger brother.  I am married and have a daughter who is in the 5th grade and a son that is 6 months old.  Outside of school, I am a Sunday school teacher at Oothcalooga Baptist Church.  I coach 8 & under and 10 & under basketball for the Bartow County Recreation Department.
