Bartow County High Schools Earn AP Honor School Awards

All three Bartow County high schools achieve 2019 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor School status! Based on results from last year’s AP course offerings and exams, Adairsville, Cass, and Woodland high schools were once again named AP STEM Schools by the Georgia Department of Education. Woodland High School earned an additional designation of AP STEM Achievement School.

Special Education Record Notice

In accordance with 34 CFR 300.573, the Bartow County Board of Education will be destroying the Special Education records of students born in 1995. All records prior to this year have already been destroyed by Federal guidelines. Anyone interested in obtaining his or her records should notify this office in writing by April 8, 2019.

Bartow Education Foundation Awards $121,000 in Teacher Grants

The Bartow Education Foundation made 257 dreams come true this year through its unrivaled Teacher Grant Program. Bartow County students will now be able to learn from cow eye dissection and owl pellet kits, graphing calculators, and a library of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) books, just to name a few.

No School Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019

Due to the anticipated winter weather event, the Bartow County School System will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 29. All after-school activities are also canceled. Just a reminder, Tuesday will not be a Digital Learning Day. If school is canceled Wednesday, then that day will be designated as a Digital Learning Day. Please see attached flyer.
