Nine current COVID-19 positive cases have been identified out of approximately 515 in-person students and staff.
As a result of this change, lunchroom procedures will be modified, teachers will change classrooms instead of students, and no visitors will be allowed beyond the front office at Hamilton Crossing Elementary School.
Changes will remain in effect until at least the next grading period, which is December 18, 2020.
Additional sanitation measures will be performed at Hamilton Crossing Elementary School this evening by Bartow County custodial staff.
At this time, and in accordance with system guidelines, Hamilton Crossing Elementary School students currently receiving in-person instruction now have the option to transition into distance learning. Please contact the front office staff at Hamilton Crossing Elementary School by Monday, November 16, if you would like to enroll into our distance learning program.
If you would like to continue traditional in-person instruction, no action is needed.
Enhanced sanitation measures established over the summer continue at all Bartow County schools and remain a top priority.
All schools previously placed in the yellow phase, Woodland High School, Cass Middle School, Kingston Elementary School, and White Elementary School, are below the one percent mark in positive cases at the end of this grading period and will move back into the green phase pursuant to Bartow County School System policies and protocols.
Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support of the Bartow County School System.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call school administrators or Central Office staff.
