Our students need your help! 6th grade science students participate in STEM units to see how science can solve real world problems. The students will be designing, building, and testing their own solar oven to determine if this simple, yet powerful use of technology can make a difference in less developed regions of the world. The supplies requested would allow each student to create and test their own oven which will be promoting the learning of heat transfer in a fun and interesting manner. In short, cooking with the sun's power is a fun way to use a renewable resource with excellent results.
