Mrs. Kellen Cloud Martinak is the lead counselor at Adairsville High School. She works mostly with seniors and magnet students. This is her thirteenth year as a counselor. All of these years have been with Adairsville. Go Tigers! She is a graduate of Reinhardt University (undergrad), University of West Georgia (masters), and Valdosta State University (specialist). All of her degrees are in professional school counseling. Mrs. Martinak chose to be a counselor because she loves helping young adults navigate life as a whole whether that be through their academics, future plans, or their personal lives.

Dr. Jessica Holt is a school counselor and a licensed professional counselor. She began working in the field in 2010 after getting her Master's degree from Georgia State University. Since then, she has also received a Specialist and Doctorate degree from the University of West Georgia in 2017. Her goal is to help students make positive choices, build strong relationships, and achieve their full potential as a student. When Dr. Holt is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their 2 sons, and their 2 dogs. Her hobbies include reading, camping, and pottery. She is a member of the American School Counseling Association, American Counseling Association, and the Georgia School Counseling Association. She has also done podcasts and articles about teenagers and mental health.

Twilya Toombs has been a School Counselor for 15 years. A graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and later with an add on in Educational Leadership. Also, a graduate from Columbus State University with a Masters and Troy University with an Educational Specialist in School Counseling. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cake decorating, line dancing, volunteering and loving her baby girl. Currently she's the President of the Columbus State University Alumni Board of Directors and President Elect of the GACTE Counseling and Career Division. As a school counselor and advocate she believes it's important to provide support and to assist students in being productive and resilient.

Bren Lewis is a 3-time graduate of University of West Georgia. She graduated with her Educational Specialist Degree in December 2023. This is her second year at AHS. Bren became a school counselor because she has always had a desire to help high school students in all ways. She wants to be a person they can rely on and a person they know who will support and care for them. In her spare time, Bren enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
