Yesterday the BCCCA took over 80 students to the Cartersville Future Fest to interact with potential employers and explore options for after high school. Our students received praise for their preparedness and professionalism.

This is career exploration reimagined: it will be a high-energy experience where high school students and employers connect through hands-on exhibits, interactive activities, and real-world inspiration.

Ask your teacher or Mrs. Whitehead for a permission slip. Spots are limited. Only the first 50 students to return their permission slips will be allowed to attend. Bus transportation will be provided. Permission slips are due to Mrs. Whitehead by Friday October 17th.

TCSG and the University System of Georgia (USG) have signed a first-of-its-kind nursing transfer agreement under the new Top State for Talent Act. This partnership creates a seamless 2+2 pathway—allowing graduates of TCSG’s associate degree in nursing programs to transfer directly into participating USG institutions to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Students enrolled in the Teaching as Profession pathway designed STEM lessons and taught them to our Pre-K students. They were able to experience an actual teaching experience. Our Pre-K students enjoyed working with our high school students, while the high school students gained skills in facilitating STEM education.
