The gifted 3rd through 5th grade students at Emerson have been working on a yearlong Tour of Nations Unit. As a culminating activity students picked a country of their choice to research. Today we celebrated their work. They hand painted a flag, created a tri-fold board, created a map 🗺️ in Minecraft, brought in artifacts, put together a costume, and delivered a speech 🎤 about their country. Some even brought food to share. They worked very hard and they shined bright today.
