Emerson's 23-24 Teacher of the Year
Emerson Elementary is among 155 schools being recognized as a Literacy Leader by the Georgia Department of Education. Emerson was selected due to the incredible reading growth experienced by the 3rd grade team. They improved from 56% at or above grade level during the 2021-22 school year to 76% at or above grade level during the 2022-23 school year. We are so excited for our students and teachers for this amazing accomplishment.
