🖤💛🖤Today Mr. Terza, Mr. Shropshire, and Buzz visited HCES to select the winners of the Kind Bookmark Challenge. Students created bookmarks during Guidance to celebrate our Bartow Cares4U word of the month - KINDNESS. Students discussed the attributes of kindess and came up with a kindness slogan to include on their bookmarks.
🖤💛🖤Making a decision about the winning bookmarks proved to be a true challenge for our trio since our HCES artists are incredibly talented! But after careful consideration, they chose:

💛Jocelyn and Iain in 5th grade
🖤💛🖤Students have also been searching for the little bees hidden around our school to raise awareness about the importance of "Bee(ing) Kind".
