NOTES FROM THE NURSE ALL MEDICATIONS MUST BE PICKED UP FROM THE CLINIC BY MAY 23, 2025. ANYTHING REMAINING WILL BE DESTROYED. BCSS does not provide over the counter medications for students. In order for your child to be given any medications at school, there are required forms to be filled out. All prescription medications require a physician order and a medication permit. These forms can be found on the Bartow County Website at www.bartow.k12.ga.us under the Parents section in Nurse/Clinic Forms. Forms for SY 2025-26 will not be available online until after school is out of session this year. FIRST DOSES OF A NEW MEDICATION OR CHANGES IN DOSAGES SHOULD BE GIVEN AT HOME TO MONITOR FOR POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS. NO MEDICATIONS CAN BE TRANSPORTED TO AND FROM SCHOOL ON THE BUS.
