How to Fill Out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Video
A FSA ID (individually created user id and password) is required to complete the FAFSA: https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm
The 2022-2023 FAFSA opens October 1. 2021: https://studentaid.gov/
To complete the FAFSA, you will use your prior year Tax Return (2020), so you don't have to wait. The new IRS Data Retrieval Tool makes this process quick. Your College Financial Aid Packages are available when you complete the FAFSA.
