BCSS Central Registration Office registers the following students:
Students new to Bartow County Schools.
Students who have been withdrawn from a Bartow County school for longer than 10 school days.
Students Transferring within the District
Students transferring from one BCSS school to another BCSS School do not need to register through Central Registration.
Parents should go to the current school to withdraw the student. Once the student has been withdrawn, go to the new school with the withdrawal slip and two proofs of your new address.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AT THE TIME OF STUDENT REGISTRATION
Birth Certificate or Passport
Social Security Card or Objection to Use Waiver
Parent or Legal Guardian Driver’s License or other Government Issued Identification. If you are not the parent, you may be required to provide legal custody or guardianship paperwork.
Two (2) Printed Proofs of Residency. Acceptable documents are:
Home Ownership paperwork
Current Lease/Rental Agreement
Any Current Utility Bill (No cell phone bills)
Hotel/Motel Receipt or Shelter Letter
NOTE: If you are living with someone else, you must submit a Notarized Affidavit of Residency, plus 2 printed proofs of residency in that person’s name. For your convenience, complementary Notary services are available at Central Registration.
DOCUMENTS THAT MAY BE PROVISIONED
Certificate of Immunization – GA Form 3231. Obtained from family physician or local health department. Required within 30 days.
Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental and Nutrition – GA Form 3300. Obtained from family physician or local health department. Required within 30 days.
DOCUMENTS THAT MAY BE REQUESTED FROM PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Previous School Records and/or Special Education Records, if applicable. *Some records may be required before the student can start school.*
