What an incredible accomplishment for AES!
During the 2024-2025 school year, our chronic absenteeism rate was 25.5%, meaning more than 1 in 4 students were chronically absent. Through the dedication of our students, families, teachers, and staff, that number dropped to just 7.5% in 2025-2026.
That's an amazing decrease of 18 percentage points in just one year!
Even more impressive, AES finished the year with the lowest chronic absenteeism rate in Bartow County Schools at 7.5%, demonstrating the impact of our collective commitment to ensuring students are present, engaged, and learning every day.
