Another big win for AHS!!!
Every three years, Army JROTC programs receive an accreditation visit. Our Tiger Battalion had their accreditation inspection this past Friday… and our ROTC Cadets received a perfect score of 400. They will retain their HONOR UNIT with DISTINCTION status, symbolized by the Gold Star. One area that impressed the Army inspector was the perfect appearance of uniforms - well-tailored, with exact placement of awards and decorations. For this inspection, all areas were cadet led, and Major and 1st Sergeant had no input the day of inspection.
The senior evaluator stated he completes 30 visits a year throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. AHS was number 26 and so far, the best one he had seen. He went on to share that Tiger Battalion was the first school to receive a perfect score from him in the past 10 years!
