he Adairsville High School FFA Chapter is proud to announce that members Morgan Perry and Riley Pope earned 10th place in the nation at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their Agriscience Fair project, titled “Grazed and Confused? The Truth About Livestock Diets,” showcased exceptional research, dedication, and professionalism on one of the largest stages in agricultural education.
Morgan and Riley competed in the National Agriscience Fair after advancing through regional and state levels, ultimately representing Georgia among the top projects in the country. Their work focused on uncovering misconceptions about livestock nutrition, combining scientific inquiry, data analysis, and real-world agricultural application.
As part of the national competition, the team underwent a rigorous, high-stakes interview process with a panel of agricultural industry experts and university faculty. They also spent months writing, editing, and finalizing a full APA-formatted research paper, demonstrating excellence in both scientific communication and academic writing.
Traveling to Indianapolis, IN, they joined more than 70,000 FFA members and supporters from across the nation. Their top ten national ranking marks an incredible milestone for the Adairsville FFA Chapter and highlights the strength of agricultural education at Adairsville High School.
The Adairsville FFA Chapter celebrates this outstanding accomplishment and looks forward to continued growth in its agriscience program.
