Dear Graduates and Parents,
AHS is so excited for the Class of 2026 Graduation Commencement Ceremony Monday evening, May 18th at 7:30 P.M. Please read below for important graduation information.
GRADUATES
Graduates need to be dressed and ready in the auditorium by 6:30 P.M.
Graduates do not forget to follow the dress code given out by Mrs. Martinak. A copy is attached.
Only school authorized stoles, caps, cords, and/or insignia may be worn. No special ordered, home-made, or non-AHS stoles, caps, cords, and/or insignia are permitted.
PARKING
Please pay close attention to the attached parking information attached. Parking will be limited, so please plan to carpool as much as possible. Gates will open at 5:30 P.M.
Additional parking will be available at Adairsville Middle School, NorthPointe Church, and Stoner Baptist Church. See parking attachment for more detailed information.
INCLEMENT WEATHER CONTINGENCIES
We ask you not bring umbrellas to use in the stands, as they obstruct viewing for others and can pose a hazard. Bring ponchos or rain jackets instead if rain appears likely.
If lightning or heavy rainfall forces a delay in the start of the ceremony, we will push an announcement our on Senior Remind and the AHS Facebook Page. The event will start as soon as it is appropriate to do so.
If nearby lightning or heavy rainfall forces a delay during the ceremony, we will pause, clear the stadium if needed, and return to our event when we are safe to do so.
In the highly unlikely event that we are unable to complete the ceremony on Monday evening; we will make up the ceremony on Wednesday the 20th at 7:30 P.M.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Spectators are asked to behave appropriately. Please remember to silence your cell phones and be respectful and courteous at all times.
Commencement is both a joyous and solemn event. Express your excitement in ways that will not prevent others from hearing the speaker and enjoying the ceremony.
