Congratulations to Katie Long, an AHS Senior, who recently had the honor to attend the 29th Annual Law Academy at Mercer University's Walter F. George Law School.
The Law Academy is part of the Georgia Mock Trial Association, a program in which a limited number of students are accepted to participate to deepen their knowledge or the Georgia legal system and court procedures. Katie had the opportunity to take the Student Bar Exam, for which she is awaiting results. Katie is a four-year member of the AHS Mock Trial Team and will compete in the Bar Association's competition in January.
