During an observation in Mrs. Levy’s 6th grade math classroom, Mrs. Bunce didn’t just observe...she jumped right in to help students work through their math escape room activity! We're all in for student learning at AMS! 🔐🧩

Students with perfect attendance this week were entered into a drawing for a chance to Cruise with a Cop! Congratulations to our winners: Serenity Spears, Lucas Payton, and Ever Blankenship! 🎉 Officer Blackman took our lucky winners on a cruise around campus… blue lights, sirens, off-roading and all! 🚔🚨 These students agreed on one thing: Ms. Callaway needed to be handcuffed and put in the backseat! 🤣🚔 There was no hesitation! We’re still investigating what crime she committed😂 Thank you to Officer Blackman for making this fun for our students and helping us celebrate those who showed up EVERY DAY this week! You never know what might happen at AMS when you have perfect attendance! 👀

Fundraiser packets are coming home today!

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Lee, Media Specialist, and Ms. McKinney, Technology Specialist, have been selected as our September EYE OF THE TIGER recipients! 🎉

Mrs. Lee and Ms. McKinney work tirelessly behind the scenes to help our school run smoothly. From making sure hundreds of laptops are ready to go at the start of the school year, to troubleshooting technology issues for students and staff, to planning lessons that support teaching and learning, they are always willing to jump in and help wherever they are needed.

We are so appreciative of their hard work, patience, and dedication to AMS! Thank you, Ms. Lee and Ms. McKinney, for all you do for our students and staff each day!

Congratulations to our first Chick-fil-A Biscuit Homeroom Competition winners of the year! These homerooms had the best attendance for the month of August and earned a Chick-fil-A biscuit breakfast!

🏈 College football season is HERE! 🏈 Today we kicked off the season with College Colors Day, and our Tigers showed up representing their favorite teams! A HUGE thank you to Water Tower Grill for the delicious wings and to Vargo Orthodontics for sponsoring lunch for our faculty and staff! Great food, a little friendly rivalry, and lots of college spirit made for a fun Friday at AMS!

Our team spent the day collaborating and thinking about how we continue to grow AMS through our three system priorities: 💚Tier 1 Instruction 💛Professional Learning 🐯 Attendance Great things happen when we learn, collaborate, and keep our focus on what matters most for our students!
