Congratulations AP Teacher of Distinction-Mr. Pyle for AP Literature and Composition!
Mr. Pyle has taught at Cass HS for one year and has a total of one year of teaching experience overall. This makes his accomplishment of being recognized as an AP Teacher of Distinction quite an honor and accomplishment! When asked what he loves about teaching AP he says: “Teaching AP Literature was one of the most edifying experiences of my life. Being that I was so close in age to them, I was able to pick and teach literature that dealt with themes, lessons, and morals they would inevitably wrestle with in the next stages of their life. The conversations and personal connections created an environment in the classroom that felt like a community of people who truly cared for one another. I can't imagine I would've had that experience anywhere other than Cass. “
