Our 2 robotics teams competed this weekend in the FLL Robotics Regional qualifying event held at Adairsville Middle School. ROBO-RIOT, consisting of 7th and 8th graders (coached by Mr. Carver), put up a fight against 27 other teams and came in 3rd overall in the robot games.
In a thrilling fashion, The Cass RENEWBOTS (coached by Mrs. Watts) consisting of all 6th graders placed 2nd overall in the robot games, and scored enough points in the core values, innovation project, and robot design judging portion to secure their spot in the , , ,
REGIONAL EVENT HOSTED AT THE VOLKSWAGEN FACTORY IN CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, ON JANUARY 28TH. IF THEY SECURE A WIN THERE, THEY WILL BE INVITED TO HOUSTON, TEXAS, TO COMPETE AGAINST TEAMS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
