The National Weather Service in Peachtree City/Atlanta is having a Women in Stem open house/outreach event geared towards girls K-12 to encourage interest in and exploration of STEM fields (particularly meteorology and hydrology). We are thankful to the students at Cass High in Mr. Black’s construction class for partnering with us to create these wooden ladders for our main hallway. Teachers hang Essential Standards and learning targets on the ladders. Students will now add/move a star when they become proficient on a learning target.
