Celebrate Read Across America week tomorrow in your pajamas!

Congratulations to Mrs. Mathis' class for perfect attendance!

Would your family like an all-expense paid trip to Walt Disney Theme Park? We would love to send you.
Emerson Elementary School is about to start a Read-a-thon Fundraiser. It is a fun and exciting way for your child to raise money while reading.
As an added incentive, any child that sends 10 text messages through their dashboard to promote our fundraiser will automatically be registered in a nationwide drawing for the Walt Disney Theme Park trip.
*One winner will be chosen each season out of all Read-a-thons held during that season.

Emerson Elementary School is hosting their 2nd Annual Read-a-thon this year!
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-a-thon starts Monday, February 27, 2023.
About one week before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
BUT you can activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/NFGzUf/1 and following the simple instructions. Readers will receive a Dr. Seuss inspired rubber duck once their account is activated.
We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope EVERYONE participates.
