Mrs. Abernathy’s Pre‑K class reached their perfect attendance goal by spelling out “Wildcat Pride”! Their reward was getting to choose a treat from the candy cart—sweet motivation for showing up every day!
Annalee Pond has been selected as the Physical Education student of the week.
Annalee was chosen for her exemplary leadership traits that are always on display during PE class. She leads by example with a positive attitude, determination, and attention to detail during gameplay.

Mrs. Van Der Horn’s fourth grade class met their perfect attendance goal by spelling out “Wildcat Pride”! The students chose extra recess time as their reward.
Mrs. Van Der Horn’s math class created bridge structures using their knowledge of force and motion, angles, and geometric shapes to design strong, weight‑bearing bridges. This STEAM activity blended visual design, math, engineering, and science—encouraging creativity, problem‑solving, and collaboration.

It was a great weekend for some of our EHES drama members that participated as jellyfish in the WHS Disney production of "The Little Mermaid"! I can’t wait to see some of these members performing on the same stage in high school one day.

✨ Euharlee Elementary Wax Museum – A Huge Success! ✨
We are so proud of our incredible 5th grade gifted students for bringing history to life at our annual Wax Museum! From famous leaders to influential innovators, each student transformed into a historical figure and shared their knowledge through engaging presentations.
We were honored to welcome several special visitors from the county office, including Bartow County School Superintendent, Mr. Terza, and Chief Human Resources Officer, David Robinson. We also welcomed students from Pre-K through 5th grade who came to experience this amazing event. The feedback was overwhelming—many shared that this was the best Wax Museum yet! Thank you Mrs. Segars and the fifth-grade gifted students for a job well done!

Read Across America Week is almost here, and we’re excited to celebrate the joy of reading! Each day next week, students are invited to join in the fun by dressing up according to our special daily themes. It’s a great way to build excitement, spark imagination, and bring our favorite stories to life. Our dress‑up days are listed below—feel free to participate each day in the fun!

Information about how to register for this event will be coming home with your child today! We have also posted a video link below on how to register your child. We are so excited about this fundraiser. All funds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase a Book Vending Machine for our school!!!

Chompsaws in Action!
Thanks to the money earned from our fall Book Fair, Dr. Bagley purchased Chompsaws for our students to use at Euharlee Elementary.
Our 5th graders in Mrs. Abbott’s class have already been putting them to great use! Students selected an ocean animal to research, planned their designs, and created thumbnail sketches. Now they’re using the Chompsaws to cut cardboard pieces for their sculptures, which they’re building from recycled materials and papier-mâché.
These amazing creations will be featured in our “Recycled Reef” installation on Fine Arts Night. We can’t wait for everyone to see their hard work and creativity on display!
