A group of students and adults stand together indoors in front of a backdrop that reads ‘Bartow County School System: Empowering Our Children to Succeed.’ They are gathered around a large banner that reads ‘Certified STEM School – STEM Georgia – Pine Log Elementary School 2025–2030.’ The group is posed on a small patch of green turf, and a U.S. flag is visible to the side.

A 'SUPER' VISIT: After an extensive and rigorous review process, Pine Log Elementary School has officially earned State STEM Certification, and now proudly displays the prestigious banner presented today by State School Superintendent Richard Woods! They are the only elementary school in the district to receive this honor and only the third school overall. What an outstanding accomplishment worthy of celebration!

State STEM Certification is important because it demonstrates a school’s commitment to high‑quality, hands‑on learning that prepares students for the rapidly evolving world of science, technology, engineering, and math. It also ensures students develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem‑solving skills that will benefit them both academically and in future career paths.
