The Bartow County School System is proud to announce that Adairsville High School, Woodland High School, and Cass High School have each earned distinctions in the newly released 2025 AP School Honor Roll, reflecting the district’s ongoing commitment to expanding college readiness and advanced academic opportunities for students.
Adairsville High School earned Silver recognition, meeting all three required performance criteria for the Class of 2025. The school achieved Silver in College Culture, with 55% of students completing at least one AP course, and Silver in College Credit, with 33% earning a score of 3 or higher. Additionally, Adairsville achieved a Platinum rating in College Optimization, as 26% of students completed a total of five AP courses over their high school careers, including at least one in 9th or 10th grade. By meeting recognition‑level expectations across all three metrics, Adairsville secured its place as a Silver‑level school on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll.
Woodland High School earned Bronze recognition, demonstrating steady progress in expanding both AP access and academic achievement. Woodland earned Bronze in College Culture, with 41% of students completing at least one AP course, and Bronze in College Credit, with 26% earning a score of 3 or higher. The school also earned Platinum in College Optimization, with 17% of students taking a total of five AP courses over their high school years, including at least one in 9th or 10th grade. By meeting the recognition‑level criteria across all three categories, Woodland secured its status as a Bronze‑level school on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll.
Cass High School also demonstrated meaningful growth in advanced academics, highlighted by its Gold rating in College Optimization. For the Class of 2025, 11% of Cass students completed a total of five AP courses during high school, including at least one in 9th or 10th grade. While schools must meet recognition‑level criteria across all three metrics to be named to the AP School Honor Roll, Cass High School’s strong performance in College Optimization reflects its continued progress in promoting rigorous coursework and preparing students for postsecondary success.
“The release of the 2025 AP School Honor Roll distinctions from the College Board marks an exciting first for the Bartow County School System,” said Paula Camp, BCSS Director of Advanced Learning. “All of our high schools earned recognition for their achievements in Advanced Academic coursework and college readiness.
