Kona Ice: Friday, Sept. 2nd
Bartow Cares: Friday, August 26th
It’s up to you! Becoming a respectful person means showing respect in all relationships. It must be on purpose, so this week be intentional. When we repeatedly give respect to our friends and family, we become respectful people. That’s what our schools need! Show respect to the people around you, including your friends and family!
Here are some ideas! • When decisions are going to affect other students at school, ask for their ideas and preferences before acting. Here is how that might sound: “How do you think we ought to handle…?” “What do you think is the best way to…?” • Ask one of your friends to teach you something they are good at, and you want to know more about it, or how to do it better. “You’re really great at…Would you show me how to…?” http://resources.relationshippress.com/books/flzk/
Important message about communication.
Mark it on your calendar!! PINK OUT 2022 will be held Friday, October 21st on the AHS football field at 9am. We are currently accepting sponsors for the Pink Out t-shirt. All proceeds raised for Pink Out will go toward families in our community who are fighting cancer.
AMS Spotlights Anthony Alexander for doing what it takes. Our Chorus performed at the Braves game last Thursday. But due to an emergency, they had no transportation and only a short time to get there. Anthony answered the call while off the clock and got them there just in time.
