John Sprayberry, 8th grade student, son of Annie Sprayberry is the AMS PBIS Point of Pride Winner for Excellence. John's nominating teacher describes him as a fantastic student that works hard and does his best on every assignment. He consistently goes above the expectations and add insight to class discussions.

OLA Language School: English Classes for Adults


7th Grade students were able to create raised garden beds. Thanks to the Bartow County UGA Extension Office for providing the plants and Mr. Yale Newman for helping us to build our garden beds. We look forward to growing our fall vegetables.




Tuesday, Oct. 12th we'll have an assembly presented by Curate Hope, which will focus on student wellness and building a better community. On Wednesday, Oct. 13, Curate Hope will host a parent assembly at 6:30 at Crosspoint City Church in Cartersville, located at 325 Old Mill Rd. in Cartersville. Please talk to your kids about the assembly Tuesday evening, and we hope to see parents Wednesday night. I look forward to seeing what this awesome community can do to help support our kids and one another.

Congrats to the 7th grade team for winning the 1st quarter STEM pennant! Their team was voted on by our STEM guests for having the best interdisciplinary unit incorporating the 4C's (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Creativity and Communication). Great job 7th grade!

Landon Cassidy, 8th grade, is the son of Michelle Brown and Mason Cassidy. He was nominated by his teachers for Point of Pride Winner in the category of respect on our PBIS matrix. Landon's teachers reported that he is a very hard worker and is very polite. Landon represents what his teachers think of when they hear the word RESPECT! Congratulations Landon!
