Our Helping Hands Ending Hunger Group at CMS has been collecting non-perishable food for our food drive. You have until Friday to get those goods turned in. These items will be distributed to our families in need over the holiday season.

Our canned food drive begins Monday November 4th and lasts until November 22nd. Any non-perishable food items can be donated. Students can turn items in to their Homeroom teacher or in the front office. These items will help stock our Helping Hands Ending Hunger food pantry. This pantry helps CMS students and their families.

Are you an 8th grader who is considering applying to one of Bartow County's magnet programs? Each high school will have a showcase event to tell you more about their program during the month of November. The application window will open on November 15th - December 9th.

The department of education created a website to help families find resources such as childcare, food pantries, shelters/housing, financial assistance, groceries that accept snap/food stamps, and healthcare. It's similar to foodfinder.us, but it has the additional resources listed above.
You can access the website through this link https://hopemapgeorgia.org/ . It can be translated into 10 languages, and you can use the filter option to narrow down what you're looking for.

You will learn hands-on about the fascinating field of forensics and have opportunities to win BIG door prizes.
