The first grade GATEWAY students tackled their first Breakout Edu challenge. Students had to use critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and perseverance to help “Gus the Grateful Turkey!”

Mrs. Martel and Miss Morrow spent a few days in Denver, Colorado at the National Association of Gifted Children Conference. They presented about STEM Challenges for the Mensa Reading list and learned from lots of other great speakers.
