Bartow County STEM Camp 2025 Tech Trailblazer Academy Architects of the Future Based on the overwhelming demand for STEM Camp this summer, we have added two more opportunities this summer!  When: June 26-29 from 8:00a.m.-2:30p.m. - or - June 23-26 from 8:00am.m-2:30p.m.  Where:  Bartow County STEM Inovation Lab & Esports Arena 738 Grassdale Road/Cartersville Who: Bartow County Students Currently in Grades 2-4 Cost: Teh STEM Camp Tech Trailblazer Academy is $150 per week.  You can register for one or both weeks.  Directions for paying the registration will be emailed with your confirmationl.  Questions:  bcss.stemcamp@bartow.k12.ga.us  Tuition will include a camp t-shirt, breakfast , and lunch each day.  Activities will be centered around Governor Kemp's list of high-demand career pathways in Georgia to include AI, AR/VR, Esports, Game Design, 3D Printing, Drones, Makerspace, and Robotics.

A Cup O'Tom's "Send-A-Sip" to your favorite faculty and staff members of Euharlee Elementary School.  Donations accepted through 3/18/2025.  Then there is a QR code and a cup of coffee shown.  On the cup it says Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck.
This week, students were given a chance to win a Valentine Snack Bouquet . Each morning when the students ate breakfast, they received a ticket toward a chance to win the bouquet. Our winner was selected this morning. Congratulations to our winner! Also, thank you goes out to the Euharlee Nutrition Program for providing this fun activity! The students really enjoyed it!

Our fourth grade students completed another phase of their yearlong PBL today by planting this beautiful Magnolia tree by the school garden.  We would like to thank Rolling Hills Resource Conservation & Development Council for donating this tree.  We would also like to thank Paul Pugliese from the Bartow County UGA Extension office for assisting us in planting the tree.

PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN IMPORTANT TIME SENSITIVE INFORMATION ***SCHOOL CHOICE PROCEDURES***  **K-12 only** According to the provisions of House Bill 251 (2009), parents/legal guardians who reside in Bartow County and are zoned for a Bartow County School can request to have their children enrolled in a school within the district, other than the one they are zoned to attend, as long as the school meets certain criteria. If students transfer to another school in compliance with the process established by the Bartow County School System, the parents/legal guardians must assume all expenses and responsibilities related to the transportation of the students to and from the new school. Transferring students are required to maintain acceptable attendance, grades and behavior. Parents/legal guardians are expected to maintain a cordial and cooperative working relationship with school personnel. Out of Zone: Resides in Bartow County but NOT within the city limits of Cartersville Out of District: Resides in Cartersville City or an adjacent county (subject to Principal approval; tuition is required) The district’s 2025-26 application process will open at 8:00 a.m. on February 3, 2025, and will close at 3:00 p.m. on February 28, 2025. No additional applications will be taken after 3:00 p.m. on February 28th. Applications will be made available online, www.bartow.k12.ga.us, at the Bartow County School System’s Central Office, the Central Registration Office, as well as the individual schools. NOTE: All applications will be made available beginning February 3rd. December 16-20, will be a dress up week for our school. Below is the dress up theme for each day: Monday, December 16th- Dress up as your favorite Grinch Character or wear green! Tuesday, December 17th- Dress up as your favorite North Pole Character (Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, reindeer, snowman, elves, etc.). Wednesday, December 18th- Christmas Bling Day (wear your favorite antlers, jingle bells, Christmas socks or hat, etc.). Thursday, December 19th- 'Twas the Night Before Christmas- Wear your favorite pajamas! Friday, December 20th- Ugly Christmas Sweater Day

Euharlee Students Shine at the Bartow County Technology Competition! On November 18th, 17 talented 4th and 5th-grade students from Euharlee participated in the Bartow County Technology Competition, where over 300 students from across the county competed in 14 different categories. Medals were awarded to the top 3 projects, and we are proud to announce the following Euharlee students who earned recognition in their categories: 🏅 Animation: Matthew Rieske and Evan Pham - 3rd Place 🏅 Digital Game Design: Ella Allen and Luca Pugliese - 3rd Place 🏅 Robotics (3rd & 4th Grade Level): River Stein and Brinkli Gloyd - 1st Place 🥇 🏅 Robotics (5th & 6th Grade Level): Xander Jacobs - 3rd Place 🏅 Digital Photo Production: Araya Pruitt and Annalynn Garner - 2nd Place A HUGE congratulations to all the students who participated!
