🎉 Attention 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Families: SPRING ASSESSMENT SEASON IS HERE! 🎉
Testing is coming up and we're ready to make it awesome! 📅 Here's the timeline: ELA kicks off 4/27-4/29, Math follows 5/4-5/5, and our 5th graders tackle Science on 5/6. Makeups will be held each afternoon as well as 4/30, 5/1, 5/7, and 5/8.
Here's how you can be a testing superhero at home 🦸: Make sure your student arrives on time, gets solid sleep the night before, and fuels up with a healthy breakfast. Chat with them about doing their best while reminding them that tests can't measure all their amazing strengths and talents. ⭐ Want to ease those test day jitters? Check out the platform together at https://www.gaexperienceonline.com/ — a little practice goes a long way! 💪
But wait.......there's more! 🎊 We're bringing back our beloved testing traditions and they're EVEN BETTER this year. Students earn up to 3 tickets daily during testing, with raffles happening every single day. 🎟️ Winners get spots at our end-of-testing pizza party! 🍕 Plus, tickets roll over for a chance to win one of SIX bikes (huge thanks to Martin's Wrecker Service! 🚲).
AND... *drumroll* 🥁 Our Pep Rally is heading to the eSports Arena at BCCA! Don't forget to send back that signed permission slip heading home TODAY — get it in ASAP! 📝

Almost one year ago, our HCES classmate Emerson was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Today, she is CANCER FREE, but will continue treatment through November to ensure the cancer does not return.
After spring break, we’d love for you to join us in a few ways to surround her with a big HamFam hug! 🩷 Remember—we are the Knights. Once a Knight, always a Knight! 💪
