The Jimmy Baker Scholarship (College or Trade School) A $500 scholarship is being offered to a deserving former HCES student to honor the late Mr. Jimmy Baker. At the time of his passing, Mr. Jimmy was the head custodian at Hamilton Crossing Elementary School and had worked there for 15 years. He was kindhearted, giving, uplifting, and funny. Hamilton Crossing Elementary School is hosting a Title 1 Parent & Student Event on Thursday, April 17th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The event will feature an Internet Safety Presentation by GBI Agent April Griffith, who will discuss how to keep children safe online. Additionally, there will be transitional information and instructional learning activities to help maintain and build reading and math skills over the summer.
