Our 4th Grade students in Mrs. Ginn's classroom are working on a Georgia DOE task focused on 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication using place value blocks, the box method, the distributive property, and partial products.

By exploring multiple strategies, our Warriors are building number sense, deepening their understanding, and becoming confident problem-solvers! 💪

🤖✖️ Math Meets Robotics in 4th Grade! ✖️🤖

Our 4th graders combined math and technology as they used Indi robots to bring their GADOE multiplication unit to life!

Students had to solve multiplication problems correctly to help their robots successfully navigate the course. If an answer wasn’t correct, it was back to the drawing board to make corrections and try again!

This hands-on learning experience encouraged problem-solving, critical thinking, perseverance, and the importance of learning from mistakes—all while having fun with math! 🚀📚
