Red Ribbon Week FUN!

📚✨ Our 1st grade students wrapped up Module One of our new Tier 1 curriculum, Arts and Letters, with a very special “bookend” activity at Cass High School’s Media Center!
Students explored the joy of reading through fun, hands-on stations:
📖 Library & Read Aloud – Listening to The Book With No Pictures by BJ Novak
📚 Book Care – Learning how to take care of books and watching a Colibri machine in action
👥 Book Club – Meeting high school book club members, hearing about their love for reading, and playing “This or That – Reading Edition”
🎨 Bookmarks & Photo Booth – Creating their own bookmarks and taking fun group/solo photos
🖥️ Circulation Desk Tour – Guided by library interns with a special surprise along the way!
To finish the day, our students proudly took the “Reading Warrior” pledge and received a pin and certificate—reminders of the lifelong gift of books and the joy of reading at every age. 💛
We are so proud of our young readers and thankful to Cass High for hosting this memorable experience! 🌟📚
