Students will now go to SPECIFIC classes for interventions and extensions during Wildcat Period. More Wildcats will receive the support they need, and more time will be available. Attendance will be taken in each Wildcat Period session.

Testing and End of Semester Schedule:
State EOC testing for Biology, Algebra 1, American Lit, and US History takes place the week of 12/5 to 12/9. Testing takes place in the morning.
Students who are absent for a test will make it up the following week.
In all other classes, new learning wraps up the week of December 9th.
The week of 12/12 to 12/16 is Tier 2 Week. Students who still need to demonstrate proficiency on essential standards will focus on review and reassessment. Others will focus on mastery and improving their learning outcomes to improve grades.
Attendance will be taken throughout the week. Please remember that Friday the 16th is an early release day and students will be dismissed at 12:30.

The WHS Fine Arts Dept. will host its annual Veterans Day Concert Thursday, 11/10 at 7:00pm in the PAC. We honor all who have served the USA with through our Visual Art, Band, Chorus, Dance, and Theatre programs. Admission is free, and the doors open at 6:30pm.


Ms. Tammy Queen is Woodland's October Teacher of the Month! Ms. Queen's influence on kids is remarkable. She works long hours to ensure that her instruction and delivery of learning is the very best, and she cares so deeply for Woodland, its students, and its staff.
