Woodland High School is proud to announce our new Head Football Coach: Brandon Haywood!
A captain and starting Quarterback at Carson-Newman in college, Coach Haywood has served as an Offensive Coordinator at River Ridge, Cass, and most recently, at his high school alma mater, Rockmart.
Coach Haywood is focused on character, hard work, and energy, and we CAN’t WAIT to watch his influence on our football players and program.


Happy New Year, Wildcats! All students will report to advisement at start of the day, Wednesday, 1/5, to pick up schedules and transcripts. This includes Career Academy students.


We want to thank Coosa Valley Credit Union for supporting our staff Christmas lunch lunch on Friday. Wildcat teachers, custodians and office staff loves the great food from Doug’s in Emerson!




Our School Resource Officer, Mark Corbin, was hosted by our Bartow System leadership as a “Ms. Dot’s Star” this week. Officer Corbin not only cares for our school when on the job, but he continually works for our kids’ safety after hours. He’s a vital member of the Woodland team!

On 11/16 our 9th Grade Students participate in Reality Store through Bartow Collaborative. Students will receive tour of the Bartow County College and Career Academy.
On the 18th, ALL WHS students encouraged to visit BCCCA 5:30-7:00 for HOPE and FAFSA/College info.
