The WMS 8th grade STEM class has worked all year with Bartow County Aviation Club to build model airplanes. Mrs. Smith and her classes built two model airplanes during their class time. On Wednesday and Thursday last week, they took a field trip to fly them at the airfield at the Kingston Downs property. This was possible due to the $1000 grant from Bartow County Aviation which purchased all the supplies for building the airplanes. Three members of the club spent the year building in the STEM classroom: Mike Viscosi, Richard LeClaire, and Duane Knight.STEM group 1 students with model airplanesairplane
