All medications must be picked up from the clinic by May 22, 2026, by 12:30 p.m. Any remaining medications will be destroyed.
Bartow County School System (BCSS) does not provide over-the-counter medications for students. To administer medication at school, required forms must be completed. Prescription medications require both a physician’s order and a medication permit. Forms are available on the Bartow County website at www.bartow.k12.ga.us under the Parents section, Nurse/Clinic Forms. Forms for the 2026–2027 school year will not be available online until after the current school year ends.
First doses of new medications or dosage changes should be given at home to monitor for possible side effects. Students are not allowed to transport medications to or from school on the bus. Families are encouraged to contact the school nurse with questions.
