Bartow County School System News

Bartow County School System Family:

Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and grace as we continue to monitor COVID-19 cases hour-by-hour and utilize the resources we have to provide a safe and successful school year for all.

Operating a school system during a pandemic often times brings changes, but we are committed to communicating those changes in a timely manner so our families can make the best decisions for their children.

This week, after regular meetings and feedback from our System Guiding Coalition and Parent Advisory Council, we have created and published a new COVID-19 Spread Matrix on our website. It can be found here https://www.bartow.k12.ga.us/page/covid-19-spread-matrix or on your phone through the BCSS App. We hope you find this information helpful.

As a reminder, your school administrators will always call you if your child was deemed a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case at school, and your school administrators will follow the same communication protocols if your school moves into a yellow phase and then back into a green phase.

If you haven’t done so already, please download our BCSS App. If your school moves into a yellow phase, administrators will also send you that information through a push notification on your phone.

Thank you, again, for being a part of our BCSS Family. We are truly excited for the learning opportunities and growth that we’ll see in your child this year!

If you have any questions or concerns, never hesitate to contact your school or Central Office. We’re here to help.

Sincerely,

Alisha Evans

Communications Coordinator
