As we prepare for an exciting 2026–2027 school year, we want to share two important updates that will help ensure a safe, focused, and successful learning environment for all students.
Beginning August 5, 2026, our new school hours will be 7:50 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., with doors opening for student arrival at 7:00 a.m. We encourage families to plan ahead to help students arrive on time and ready to learn each day.
In addition, we will be implementing Georgia's Distraction-Free Education Act (HB 340). Students in grades K–8 will be required to keep cell phones and personal electronic devices secured in their bookbags. This expectation includes smart watches, headphones, gaming devices, personal laptops, and other electronic devices.
We appreciate your partnership and support as we continue to make Adairsville Elementary School a place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for being a valued part of our AES family.
We’re excited to share that our school supply lists for the upcoming school year are now available! You can find them on our school website and through our school communication platforms.
We hope this gives you plenty of time to prepare, and we appreciate your support in helping our students start the year ready to learn. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to AES!
Warmly,
AES Administration

We are excited to announce that our 5th Grade Graduation will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The ceremony location has been changed back to the Adairsville Middle School gym.

Adairsville Elementary School proudly led Bartow County with the highest average attendance of all schools in March 2026—way to show up, AES!

Have fun and enjoy a treat from AES PTO & AES saying thank you for being a special part of our TIGER FAMILY.

They explored engineering by designing and constructing their traps using a variety of materials, thinking about how to catch a tricky leprechaun. Through science, they made predictions about what might work best and tested their ideas. The children practiced math skills by measuring, comparing sizes, and figuring out how to balance and connect materials.
This activity also supported fine motor development as they cut, glued, and assembled small pieces with care. Creativity really shined through the art component, especially when they added special touches like jewels—because we learned leprechauns love sparkly things!
It was such a fun, hands-on way to encourage problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork while bringing our story to life. 🍀

Rising 5th grade students-See Flyer

Join us for an evening packed with special guests, pay to play student-made arcade games, robotics demonstrations, 5th‑grade–designed t‑shirts, and seed balls to kick off your spring gardening.
Every AES student will have artwork proudly on display, and your AES Administration will be grilling up hotdogs, chips, and drinks for everyone to enjoy.
Bring the whole family for a night of creativity, community, and hands‑on excitement. It’s going to be FUN for everyone!

We are proud to announce that AES is back on TOP with our attendance rate. Thank you for the dedication to student learning and the support of AES school goals. GO TIGERS!!!

Throughout the activity, students showed curiosity, initiative, and persistence as they explored materials and worked both independently and with classmates. Using fine motor skills, they carefully wrote numerals and placed them on their clocks. During discussions, children used language to explain their ideas, describe their clocks, and make connections between time and their daily routines.
This hands‑on STEAM experience supported early learning across multiple areas: mathematical reasoning, science and engineering concepts, fine motor development, and language and literacy growth. Students demonstrated number sense, early writing skills, and an understanding of how things work—all while engaging creatively and enthusiastically in the learning process.
