"On Saturday, November 23rd, New Frontier's Annual Feed the Community Dinner, In Honor of Michael Dean will return. The dinner will be held 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Cartersville Civic Center located at 435 West Main Street. The event will feature a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, as well as other services including blood pressure checks, free clothing, and free haircuts. The dinner is open to everyone in the community including our senior citizens, shelter residents, families, veterans, or those just wishing to fellowship with their neighbor. Free transportation is being provided by Bartow Transit to and from the event. To schedule a pickup call 770-387-5165 at least two days before the day of the event."

The AHS Book Club will have an interest meeting on Monday, October 14 during Tiger Time. This club is for those interested in reading, sharing and taking part in school literacy activities. If you want to be a part of this club and cannot attend, please send Lena Adams a message on Schoology. Please sign up for this on Tiger Time otherwise.

Please help support this cause. As you can see, we turned this into a competition with the hope that we fill the semi that leaves for Asheville this Friday. I know it's short notice, but I have faith our community can get it done and support the families in North Carolina who are in dire need of supplies. GO TIGERS!!
Senior, Vivian Reyes was selected to serve on the Student Advisory Committee for the State Department of Education. Vivian is a very involved student at Adairsville High School, and we are so proud of her. An article about Vivian will be coming soon.

We are requesting donations for NC! Items can be dropped off in the STEM Lab anytime this week! Residents are in need of water, baby food, soap, sanitizer, and canned soups.
Monday kicks off Homecoming 2024! Movie night on the football field. Concession stand is cash only!

Students and Parents,
There will be NO SCHOOL Thursday, 9/26, or Friday, 9/27, as a precaution, due to the potential of severe weather. All after school activities for Thursday are canceled. Friday night football will not be determined at this time. We will notify players and the community on Friday when we make the final decision. The following week we will be on Fall Break; therefore, AHS will be closed from now until Monday, October 7th. Please stay safe these next few days and have a restful Fall Break.
