It's time for the Hamilton Crossing Elementary School Read-A-Thon!
Our school Read-A-Thon begins on Monday February 24, 2025, and is sure to be a fun and exciting event.
We understand that your time is valuable. We also know that providing the best education for your child is important. That's why we are encouraging everyone to activate their student's Read-A-Thon account as soon as possible. The instructions are straightforward, making it quick and hassle-free, and it should take less than 5 minutes of your time.
Watch a short video to see how to signup your reader:

This account will serve as a hub for recording and monitoring your child's progress as a Reader in the event, and for you to share their Read-A-Thon message with friends and family. Use the link below to activate your student's Reader account:

Thank you so much for your participation and support. Together, we can make this Read-A-Thon an amazing experience for our young readers! Thank you,
Hamilton Crossing Elementary School

It is that time of the year, we have yearbooks on sale. You should have received a bright blue paper with how to order. I am also including a copy here. You can order online by clicking this link https://shop.yearbookmarket.com/hamiltoncrossingelementary, or you can send in the flyer with your money. All orders must be received by April 25.

Hamilton Crossing Elementary School is so excited to hold our very first Read-A-Thon this year! This is in place of our Spring Book Fair so all the proceeds benefit the library. Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Your child keeps 15% of donations they raise. They can spend their 15% in the online store. Click here to check out online store: https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/prize_catalog. Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday, February 24, 2025. About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/CpPWBz/1 and following the simple instructions. We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates. Thanks so much, Mrs. Collett Media Specialist

Literacy Night

From Santa's visit to our very own Elf on the Shelf, Decking the Hallways to Santa Shop, and holiday dress-up to Kingdom Color Pep Rally, HCES ended 2024 year creating so many wonderful memories. From our HamFam to yours, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and many happy and magical memories for 2025.

HCES 4th Grade and 5th Grade Gateway was recognized by State Superintendent Woods and Bartow County Board of Education for increasing growth in Mathematics on last year's Milestones. This is in direct correlation to how much our staff loves our students and the willingness to put in the right work by everyone. Proud to be a Knight.

Perfect attendance for second 9 weeks and grade level attendance winners! Yeah!

We had our very on Elf on the Shelf today! Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Hadaway are always willing to do things to help make our students and staff enjoy their day.

Don't forget that Friday, December 6th is our Pictures with Santa Fundraiser. Students will be sent down by classroom teachers to our beautiful scene that morning to have their pictures taken. There is still time to sign your student(s) up - payments ($10 individual; $15 for 2+ siblings) are due on 12/4. If you lost your sheet - no problem! Just send your payment along with the names of the child(ren) you would like pictured. *We apologize for any inconvenience, but this is for HCES students only.*

HCES students had so much fun at our fall festival today. A big thank you to the awesome parent volunteers and Tarascos for donating lunch for these hardworking volunteers.
