We are so proud of our students that participated at the Bartow County Technology Competion. We had three students that placed first, second, and third. In the Multi Media Category for Grade Band 3rd/4th the award goes to:
3rd: Annie B.
2nd: Khloe U.
1st: Kylie U.
We will find out next week if any advance to state level.

Lego Robotics Club is gearing up for our January competition. Students were coding and practicing with the robots. Other students were discussing their group innovation project with Mrs. Robertson. The students work very hard each week after school to get competition ready.

In the Hub, Kindergarten, first and second graders got an introduction to Marty the Robot.








Ms. McLaughlin's and Ms. Hampton's fourth graders participated in a mock technology competition where they did amazing jobs with their PowerPoint and presentations. The competitors will represent HCES at the county technology competition on November 29th.










HCES honored our Veterans today during our annual Veterans Day program with performances by our Chorus, Fifth grade students, and second grade Gateway students. Thank you Ms. Crossan for your dedication in planning and working with chorus and fifth grade to make this a special event. Thank you to all Veterans!











Free Thanksgiving Meal


Join HCES Staff and Master Gardeners THIS THURSDAY for a Garden Work Day. We will be working after school from 3:00-5:00 to spread mulch, weed areas, remove some plants, and set up the greenhouse. We will have tools but if you have ones you prefer to work with, bring them on!!!

On Friday, November 10th, HCES will host the annual Veteran's Day Program. We will have two sessions 8:45-9:15 will be grades Pre-K through 2nd Grade and 9:30-10:00 will be 3rd Grade through 5th Grade. If you would like to honor your Veteran on our "Hall of Honor", please complete and send in the document along with a picture.



We're very proud of these HCES students who performed tonight with over 100 elementary students tonight at the Bartow County Honor Chorus! Thank you! Mrs. Crossan for getting our students prepared.

Cass High School will be having the 2nd annual Homecoming Parade in downtown Cartersville this Thursday the 28th at 6:00 PM. Please see the document for details on the parade route. Go Colonels!!



Ms. Allison Ross, 2024 Teacher of the Year for Hamilton Crossing, was recognized Friday night before the Cass High football game. Ms. Ross teaches Special Needs Pre-K students. Members of her family joined her at the game.


Thank you to everyone who supported the bookfair. We sold $12,040. worth of books and other items. $370 worth of books were purchased from Bedford Falls and we received $3,233.42 cash profit. This money will help us purchase more books as well as other STEM related items. Reading is the key to success, and you have made it possible to put books into children's hands. Thank you, Ham Fam!

Hamilton Crossing Chocolate Fundraiser officially started today. Your child must return the permission form, that was sent home yesterday, before a box of chocolate is given out. Take a look at the permission slip for the prizes your child could earn. Thank you in advance for supporting this fundraiser. Enjoy selling the World's Finest Chocolate. The class that sales the most will receive $100 to spend on items for the classroom.
