As part of celebrating Constitution Week, members from the Etowah Chapter of the DAR visited Hamilton Crossing dressed in character to entertain and educate the fifth graders about the time period when the American Constitution was written. The chapter provided bookmarks for the students as well. Students enjoyed the presentation and the opportunity to ask questions. Thank you, ladies, for visiting us!

We are so blessed to have such dedicated staff at HCES. The heavy rain didn’t stop students from leaving the car or bus this morning. I’ve heard of rolling up your sleeves and getting to work but I have never heard of roll up your pants and kick off your shoes. Thank you to all our staff for loving our students.

ToMoRRoW is the first day of the 2023-2024 school year!!! 🍎 A few reminders… -School hours are 7:15-2:30. -In order to help the traffic pattern change at 293, we ask that all cars turn right when exiting the car rider line. Please have patience as we monitor how this change impacts our school traffic. -All changes of transportation must be sent in with students. We can not accept changes over the phone/Dojo/email. We are so excited to see all of our students in the morning!! It is going to be an awesome year!! 💙💛
