We are excited to announce a new online payment option for school meals. Effective immediately, we will no longer be using My Payments Plus. Instead, we will be utilizing a similar platform called LINQ Connect for families looking to add money to their student(s) meal accounts electronically. To get started, go to linqconnect.com and click on the “register” button in the top right corner of your screen. Follow the prompts. If you have money in My Payments Plus, it will automatically transfer to your LINQ account. With the new system, you will also have the option to track purchases and add an autopay feature. As with My Payments Plus, you will be charged a small convenience fee for services. Additionally, you can also fill out your Free and Reduced Meal application on the same platform. We hope you find this tool easy and convenient! For questions, please do not hesitate to contact Central Office or your school cafeteria manager.

Hey KES families, Please read the following information regarding car rider and change of transportation procedures at the school. Some things be a little bit different than what we have done last year. We appreciate your help in reading through these procedures to ensure all of our students are safe and that transportation changes and procedures run smoothly!Car rider and Change of Transportation Procedures2023-2024 School YearPLEASE READ AS SOME THINGS HAVE CHANGED!_______________________________________________________________1.     When dropping off a student in the mornings, have your child exit the vehicle on the school side to ensure safety.  Morning car riders may be dropped off, starting at 7:15a.m.  Students must be in class by 8:05a.m. or they are considered tardy.  If you arrive to drop off your student at 8:05a.m. or after, you will need to park in the parking lot and bring your student in the building to sign them in, in the front office.  Do not leave your vehicle in the car rider line, unattended, for any length of time.2.     Afternoon car riders must have an “official” windshield sign which specifies the student’s name.  These “official” signs will be issued directly to parents in the front office.  Students will not be dismissed to a vehicle without a sign or with a self-made sign.  If for some reason your sign is lost, please park in the parking lot and come into the main office prior to 2:00p.m. in order to allow time to check records and issue another sign. 3.     Dismissal will begin at 2:15p.m.-2:20p.m.4.     All car riders must be picked up by 2:45p.m.  If your student is not picked up by 2:45p.m, he/she will be sent to the After School Program and parents will be charged for the day ($10.00 per child, per day)5.     If you have difficulty picking up your student on time, you may make arrangements with the After School Program, one of the day care groups that picks up at KES or have your child ride the bus.6.     NO TRANSPORTATION CHANGES WILL BE TAKEN OVER THE PHONE, EMAIL, DOJO, TEXT OR BY FAX.  ALL CHANGES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING THE MORNING OF THE CHANGE. This is for your student’s safety.  If notification is not received, your student will follow his/her regular method of getting home. Emergencies will be considered.7.     Please make sure that anyone sent to pick up your student is listed on the information card.  If a person is not listed on the information card, by law, we are not allowed to let the student leave the building with that person and other arrangements will need to be made.8.     NO STUDENT CHECK OUTS AFTER 2:10. NO EXCEPTIONS!!Thank you, Mary Payne Assistant PrincipalKingston Elementary School
