Our Annual Title I Meeting will be held on September 18th at 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

We cannot wait to see you all tomorrow for our first day of school! Our doors open at 7:15 a.m., and parents will be able to walk their child(ren) down to their classrooms for the first three days!
Starting Monday, August 8th, parents will no longer be able to walk their children down to class, so we can get students accustomed to our daily routines!
Starting this school year, we will have a wonderful new grab n' go breakfast cart located in the main hallway that will be available for purchase.
Finally, it is so important that your child is here at school every day! We are excited for a wonderful year of learning!

The time is here, Open House is tomorrow! We are looking forward to seeing all of our students during one of the following sessions: 10:30-11:30, 1:30-2:30, or 5:00-6:00. Come meet your teachers, check out your classroom, and get information on lunch, buses, car riders, ASP, and PTCO. Eagle Sportz will be on-site selling custom spirit wear and Overflow Coffee Cart will be on-site selling delicious coffees. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 6th. We are excited to kick off an amazing school year!

• Enter student’s Username (their lunch/student ID number) and their password (your child should know it)
• You now have access to all the books in the Bartow County School District!

• Under the heading EXPLORE, you’ll see Bartow County School District 608 and a down arrow. Click that down arrow.
• Click + Add Library
• If you type in Bartow County Library System, you can now add THEIR books!
I love to download audio books to listen in the car on long road trips. I also like to download digital books when I travel so I don’t have to pack bulky books, just my phone or tablet! Once you've set up your log-in, you can add the app to your device and it's so easy to read great books any time!
Field day is still on! For visitors today: Please do not park in any grassy areas for overflow. The ground is very wet and vehicles are likely to get stuck in the mud. Thank you!

Library books are now overdue! There are still 111 books missing, in the hands of 71 of our students. Notices were sent home today if your child owes a book. Please ask them if they got a notice, and help them locate any lost books as soon as possible! Thanks for your help! :)
Now announcing our 2025-2026 KES Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Brooke Hooker! She was nominated by colleagues for her passion and dedication, growth mindset, and the way she challenges students in the classroom (among many other things). We are proud to have her represent KES!
All library books are due by Friday, May 9. Please make sure your child has returned them to the Learning Hub. Notices will be sent home next week for anyone who still has overdue library books.
