Sunday, September 17, marked the 235th anniversary of the creation of the U.S. Constitution.
To celebrate Constitution Week here at Pine Log, you are invited to enter a Constitution Week Poster Contest, by listening to some facts on the announcements and searching for a hidden treasure in the hallways of Pine Log.
We continued the Pine Log tradition of searching for the flag and gold-painted rock.
Congratulations to Wade K., Mason S., Zaylen L., Alivia M., Annabelle C., Keegan M., Ryleigh D., and Liam H. for finding the golden rock yesterday by using this hint:
Start with the word rock and you will find
A leisurely way to pass the time.
Made of wood and lots of slats,
With a buffalo plaid pillow at your back.

Remember to order your Pink Out t-shirt by Friday, September 22. We are doubly proud to wear this Pink Out shirt this year as it was designed by a former Pine Log Indian, Kimberlyn Allen. Adairsville Middle School hosts Pink Out Day annually to raise money for families in the Adairsville community who have been impacted by cancer. This year's theme is "Rise Up" which Kimberlyn included in the shirt design.

The Fall Book Fair was a success thanks to your purchases and donations.
Thank you all for your support! - Mrs. Hughes

Congratulations to the Adairsville Tigers on their Friday night win! Thanks for sharing your 306 Pride with our future Tigers.

AHS cheerleaders and a AHS football player started our Friday with a roar. These Tiger athletes eased smiles onto faces while they opened car doors for PLES students and provided fist bumps to start the day. Go Tigers!

We had another great day at the book fair building stronger readers with new books. Emmett is an avid reader with a future brighter than his safety vest.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped students practice their math skills at the book fair.

Thank you to these Adairsville High School Skills Team students who helped build a greenhouse for our STEM Club.
"We are excited about the opportunities this greenhouse will offer the students. It will provide a hands-on learning experience which will provide students a better STEM knowledge and skills through the study of plants," Jamie Patrick, STEM Club Sponsor

We're sending a special thank you to some students at AHS who helped build this greenhouse for the PLES STEM Club.
We are looking for more community involvement for STEM at PLES. Please let us know if you can donate financially, with supplies or tools, or with your time and energy.

Our Friday started off with a roar when four football cheerleaders from Adairsville High School served as greeters in the car rider lane this morning. These spirited ladies opened doors and wished a good day to PLES students. Be sure to see them in action at tonight's first home football game at AHS.
Go Tigers!

We're sending a special Thank You to the Moss Family Christmas Tree Farm!
