AHS Dodgeball Tournament May 16, 2024
Who Wants the belt?
• Dodge Ball Tournament Thursday, May 16 we will be on the afternoon activity schedule.
• Teams must consist of 5 boys and 5 girls, grades 9-12 – think clubs, sports teams, friends, other.
• Students can only be on one team.
• Every team member must pay $5 entry fee for a total of $50 per team.
• Create a unique team name, team uniform and of course a clever walk-out song (All must be approved by school administration.)
• REALLY HAM IT UP. An award will be given for the most creative/spirited team. Google some examples. They are GREAT!
• Game length will depend on the number of teams.
• The winning team will receive a championship belt and team photo to be on display in the upper atrium.
• A DJ and announcer will be on scene to commentate and play music during the event.
• We are hoping that you ALL will participate and help build school spirit in this fun event.
• Admission to watch will be $1.
• Concessions will be available.
• Deadline for team sign up is Monday, May13 by the end of first period

• This is a fundraiser for the Media Center.

EXCITING NEWS!!! The Booth Western Art Museum is purchasing an artwork piece from Mr. Laney's 11th grade student, Skyla Rowland, to add to their permanent collection. Be sure to stop by the exhibition to see the remarkable talent displayed by this young artist. Thank you, Skyla, for allowing us to display this piece of your artwork entitled, "Home vs. Arachnid" at the Educator job fair.

practice ACT/SAT test on Sat, Mar 23rd, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Get
the practice you need to succeed on the test! Registration required.

Jaimen Long finishes 2nd in the GHSA Wrestling State Tournament! Very proud of this young man and how he finished his wrestling career. Jaimen won over 40 matches this year and proved himself to be one of the best wrestlers in the state. Congrats Jamo!!!


Jett Johnson finishes a perfect season as a STATE CHAMPION!!! Jett is one of the hardest working kids in the weight room and it showed all season. You earned every bit of the success you achieved this year, well done Jett!!
