From Skills USA Leader, Kevin Goble:
What can I say about these students. We went to Rome to the AGC skills challenge, and the event also doubled as the regional event, for SkillsUSA. We competed in masonry, carpentry, electrical, blueprint reading, plumbing, and welding.
So, after all the smoke and saw dust was over the Adairsville high construction program walked away with not 1 but 3 region champs.
Oliver Flores won Masonry
Wade Griffin Back to Back region champ in plumbing
Damion Martin in carpentry
And Natalie Wade will be headed to state in plumbing with a 3rd place win.
I am beyond excited and proud of these students.
Thank you to all of the sponsors that have help us this far and now to get these students ready for state in February.
