No school! Enjoy your break.

Mr. Evans’ favorite part of CTAE is the real-world experiences students gain while exploring different career paths. Many students enter the education pathway unsure, but through hands-on practicum and internship experiences, they often discover a true passion for teaching. Watching students commit to pursuing education as a career is what makes this pathway so meaningful.
We’re proud to celebrate educators who are shaping the next generation of teachers right here at AHS!

Thank you for the time, energy, creativity, and care you pour into our Tiger community. Because of you, our students feel inspired, supported, and ready to take on what comes next! Our school is a better place because of it, and we are so grateful for all that you do!

Students learned about internships, career opportunities and pathways for advancement within the Delta company. They witnessed first hand the professional collaboration that takes place in the Operations Center to keep a world-wide fleet of airplanes operating safely and pretty much on time.
Each student was able to have some time in the pilot seat of the Airbus330 simulator.
The trip culminated with an investigative tour of the engineering marvel that is the Boeing 747.
We want to thank everyone who made this experience possible for our students!

Congratulations to Brayce-Lynn Reynolds who was the winner of the Bartow Cares Essay contest for the second nine weeks! She won four free tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters Basketball Team at Lake Point. The Bartow Cares word for the past term was "Gratitude," and students were asked to write about someone in their lives for whom they are extremely grateful. Brayce-Lynn wrote an awesome tribute to Scott Blackman, Bartow County Resource Officer at Adairsville Middle School. Officer Blackman was able to attend the game with Brayce-Lynn and her family. A great time was had by all! Congratulations, Brayce-Lynn!

Adairsville Thespian Troupe 6316 recently attended Thescon in Columbus, Georgia. At this conference, Amelia Carter was named a STATE CHAMPION!
Her entry for theatre marketing was rated the best in the state, and she was one of 13 entries selected to be showcased out of appx. 700 from the state of Georgia.
Additional congrats to Aslyn Phillips who performed as a member of the Allstate Theatre cast AND had a solo during the performance.
Way to Rep the A!

Representatives from FFA, SkillsUSA, and TSA met with Rep. Mitchell Scoggins, TSA Executive Director Steve Price, SkillsUSA Executive Director Ashley Acuff, Georgia DOE Program Specialist Tim Vinson, and state-level student leaders from their respective organizations. These meaningful conversations provided valuable insight into leadership, advocacy, and the impact students can have beyond the classroom.
The trip concluded with a tour of the Capitol and a visit to the Senate Gallery, where students observed our senators in action — an inspiring experience that brought government to life.

This incredible young lady, Natalie Wade, works hard at everything she does. Yesterday, she was officially sworn into the National Guard and will attend basic training this summer—what an amazing accomplishment!
Natalie is not only a dedicated SkillsUSA member, but also an active member of Adairsville High School’s JROTC. She has big dreams and clear goals, and she’s already taking meaningful steps to turn them into reality.
If you see Natalie please be sure to congratulate her on this outstanding achievement!

Breakfast and lunch menus can also be found on the AHS website under the School Nutrition tab.

We’ve got three of our AMAZING students headed to STATE TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION!
We couldn’t be prouder!
Nathaniel Fortier – Physical Computing
Kierra Woodside – Animation
Ella Howe – Multimedia Applications
These rockstars rose to the top after we sent 15 incredible projects to Regionals on Friday! Every project was outstanding and had already earned district recognition, but only 1st‑place winners move on to state… and these three earned it!
So, if you see Nathaniel, Kierra, or Ella, make sure to give them a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!
They’ve worked hard, they’ve shined, and they’re representing AHS in the best way!

Thanks to all the students and teachers who are participating. The contest continues through February.
Here are the leaders:
Anabelle Cudd with 2258 minutes
Paisley Gray with 1521 minutes
Calvin Konen with 1420 minutes
Lily McCormick with 1117 minutes.
