The Educator Job Fair for BCSS took place today. We had the most educators in attendance we've ever had. So proud of our school representing "The Woodland Way." #TheWoodlandWayEveryStudentEveryDay #BetterInBartow

Today was a special day for one of our staff members. Mr. Herbert Perkinson, one of our custodians, turned 88 years young today. Mr. Herbert works circles around the rest of us every day. He takes pride in our school. He loves our students and loves our staff. He epitomizes "The Woodland Way." We hope you had a wonderful 88th birthday Mr. Herbert. #TheWoodlandWayEveryStudentEveryDay

We had a special guest in FCA this morning. Secovie White-Helton, Cass High graduate and current UGA wide receiver, spoke to our students. What a joy to welcome back one of Bartow County's own to show our students what is possible. #GoDawgs #GoWildcats #BetterInBartow #TheWoodlandWayEveryStudentEveryDay

A huge congratulations to our Esports Teams for their first wins of the season. Brandon Snead, Lathan Hampton, and Aeson Camp beat William Crawford Intermediate School in Smash Bros. Ultimate. For Rocket League, Andy Parker, Nolan Snow, and Weslee Chitwood were victorious against Warren County Middle School. Both teams have been working very hard, and their efforts are paying off! Congratulations!
Kona Ice will be in the house on Thursday, 3/12/26. After eating your delicious, nutritious lunch, go get yourself a Kona. #TheWoodlandWayEveryStudentEveryDay

Congratulations to these 8th grade students for their scores on the PSAT. Hard work pays off!

School Board Appreciation Week is next week. We started a little early by having our Woodland board representative, Butch Emerson, throw out the first pitch at our baseball game today. It was a great pitch. So thankful for Mr. Emerson and all he does for our school and system. The Wildcats took a loss today against Dalton, 7-0. Great game, though. #TheWoodlandWayEveryStudentEveryDay

Our cafeteria staff recently received another 💯 on its inspection. I say it a lot, but it’s true that we have the very best cafeteria staff around. They display the Woodland Way consistently. # TheWoodlandWayEveryStudentEveryDay
